Dakkada FC narrowly defeat Heartland

Dakkada FC have secured a vital 1-0 victory over Heartland in the MatchDay 32 of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Nest of Champions in Uyo yesterday.

The home side kicked off the game with enthusiasm and in the 8th minute, Heartland’s Kenneth Ikwugbado booked for a rash challenge on Isaac George while in the 30th minute, Dakkada’s Olawale Doyeni was) booked for a foul on Kelechu Chimezie.

However, in the 33rd minute, the deadlock was broken after Dakkada’s Emmanuel Charles tapped in Isaac George’s cross beyond Heartland’s goalkeeper, Segun Fatunwasi.

At the restart of the second half, the home side seemed content with the lead just as Unwana Asuquo got booked for time wasting in the 60th minute while the coach, Lawrence Kingsley was sent off for dissent in the 67th minute.
