It is time for your dream to be fulfilled

-

Habakkuk 2:2-3, “2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

God gives visions. He gives us a peep of our desired future. And every dream or vision authored by God must find fulfillment. A good example is the case of Joseph. Not every dream is authored by God.

Imagination is one of the greatest gifts of God to mankind. This is the quality of seeing images in your mind of things that don’t exist physically.

Jonathan Swift said, “Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.”

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18. Success requires vision.

What is vision? It is an image of a preferred future.

God specialises in creating images of greatness in the minds of those who became great. God spoke about making Abraham great and giving him a great name. Genesis 12:2. Later, God showed him stars to create and indelible image of his future seeds in his mind. Genesis 15:5. You can see your future from where you are.

These images of greatness are created throughout scripture for those who would follow Christ.

Whatever dominates your mind will dominate your life.

Vision is the ability to see farther than your eyes can see. It is seeing the future before it comes into being.

John Sculley, the former CEO of Pepsi and Apple Computer once said, “The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.”

Sight is a function of the eyes while vision is a function of the heart. Eyes that look are common, but eyes that see are rare. The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight but has no vision (Helen Keller)

20 Things You Need To Know About Dreams

1. Adreamisapreviewofyourdestiny; a chapter in your future.

2. Just like pregnancy, it takes intimacy to conceive. Intimate moments with God enable you to see your future.

3. It is futuristic, so there is a time of waiting for manifestation.

4. A dream is a proof you have a better future.

5. A dream is a tonic for life. If you do not conceive, you will not achieve.

6. A dream is a promise to be received and claimed by faith.

7. The fulfillment of a dream requires a process. You move from promise through process to possession.

8. A dream must be documented for records, planning and constant reminder. Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables…(v2)

9. A dream is meant to be pursued actively: That he may run that readeth. Apostle Paul said, I press. You have to press if your dreams must become reality; press in prayer and work. Your dream is valid, don’t give up on it.

10. A dream is a harvest therefore seeds must be planted for them to come to pass. Seeds of time, energy, resources, etc.

11. A dream must be celebrated until fulfilled. Israel murmured; they spent 40 years instead of 40 days. Celebrating life and your dream while waiting is a secret many have not discovered. If you want to get out of the wilderness fast, you must not allow the devil to steal your joy.

12. A dream protects against anxiety, frustration and fear. Joseph could be cheerful in prison because he had seen his future.

13. A dream focuses our energy and steers us in the right direction. It is not enough to run, you must be in the right race and run in the right direction. You must run in the direction of your vision if you expect to win.

14. There is an appointed time for the fulfillment of every vision. 3For the vision is yet for an appointed time…(v3). Small dreams may come to pass quickly but big dreams take time to be fully delivered. Rats deliver after 3 weeks of pregnancy, but elephants after 20 months.

15. A dream like pregnancy takes over your body and your life. It changes you. Your dream must consume you if it’s happen.

16. A dream, like pregnancy, can be aborted if not protected or pursued. Pregnant people stay away from anything that can hurt them and their baby. They must eat right and rest well. The mind is the womb where Great futures and destinies are conceived, so feed it well.

17. Opposition does not stop the fulfillment of a dream. It is the labour pain required to facilitate its fulfillment. The bigger your dream, the greater the challenges.

18. Favour is released when dream manifestation is ripe.

19. Dreams take you from peak to peak.

20. One of the most amazing things in the world is the fulfillment of your dream. Imagine the dramatic change that took place in the life of Joseph when his dream is fulfilled! The Example of Joseph

God gave Joseph a dream of greatness. Genesis 37:5-11

God fulfilled it. Genesis 42:6-9 “6And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph’s brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

[7] And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food. [8] And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. [9] And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them…”
