The Future Awards Africa today
The 16th edition of The Future Awards Africa holds today. The awards, which celebrate young people between the ages of 18 and 31, are a set of awards given by The Future Project, a social enterprise set up with a strong, practical commitment to human and capital development, especially in Africa.
The awards was conceived by Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams in 2004 and winners are young people that have made outstanding achievements in the year.
This year’s award will be hosted by Nancy Isime. The Central Working Committee of The Future Awards Africa made this known in a statement.
Commenting on the host choice, Seun Oluyemi, Chief Content Officer, RED MEDIA and Project Lead, said, “Nancy Isime who happens to be a past winner is an inspirational actress and an exceptional host. Her energy is refreshingly dynamic and magnetic. She embodies the fierce determination of a challenger and the child-like inquisition of a builder so effortlessly that having her host the Awards was a perfect choice.”
“We look forward to her unique talent and the memorable experiences she will create at the event,” he concluded.
On her part, Nancy said, “Hosting the 16th edition of The
Future Awards Africa is a full-circle moment for me. I was awarded The Future Awards Africa Nigeria Prize for On-Air Personality (TV) in 2017 and now I get to flaunt the skill that bagged me an award on the same stage.”
“It would be a real treat hosting this event and celebrating phenomenal young Africans and the enablers of this generation. I can’t wait!” she concluded.
The Future Awards Africa, dubbed “most important awards for outstanding young Africans”, is dedicated to celebrating phenomenal young Africans between ages 18 and 31 who have made commendable achievements in the preceding year.
Also, Zedcrest Group, a newage financial solutions powerhouse, is sponsoring the 16th edition of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) to support and celebrate young leaders who are shaping the culture, defining trends, and creating new opportunities across the continent.
