2022 Ramadan Polo tournament gallops-off in Kaduna

Kaduna, the political headquarter of northern Nigeria is bracing for one of its grandest moments as the Kaduna Polo Club has concluded plans to host a mega Ramadan Polo Tournament.

Ibrahim Kontagora who disclosed this exclusively to Polo Royals, confirmed that the club would be hosting a special four day tourney to mark the Ramadan Holidays that would gallop off from May 3-7, 2022.

Honourable Kontagora stated that the tourney that is coming on the heels of the recently concluded Trade Fair tournament would be one of the major activities lined up by the polo club for members, their families and invited guests to enjoy the religious holiday celebrating the Ramadan Fasting period.

“Yes we are packaging a special Sallah mini tournament this year for all the good reasons,” Kontagora reassures, adding that “Kaduna Polo Club has a tradition of hosting Sallah tournaments and the committee is pulling all stops to host another exciting and memorable event this May.”

Kaduna Polo Caption, Ibrahim Babangida disclosed that though the grand Sallah fiesta would feature predominantly playing members of the club. “We are expecting few visiting players because the event has already been posted on the clubs’ website.”

“It would be four days of fun as we enjoy the Sallah with our family members and friends during the holiday at the foremost Murtala Mohammed Square that has played host to high profile events and now the much anticipated Sallah fiesta,” Babangida enthused.
