ACF inaugurates new executive, board of trustees
The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) yesterday inaugurated new members of the Board of Trustees (BOT) and National Working Committee to steer its affairs for the next six and three years respectively.
The new BOT as inaugurated by retired General Gowon include: Mallam Adamu Fika as chairman, AVM Mukhtar Mohammed as deputy chairman and Professor Para Mallum as vice chairman. The National Working Committee consists of former IGP Ibrahim Ahmadu Coomassie as chairman, National Executive Council (NEC) Musa Liman Kwande as deputy chairman NEC, Senator Abubakar Girei as vice chairman NEC, retired Col. John I.P Ubah as Secretary General, Barrister Halima Alfa as national legal adviser, Abubakar Husaini Moriki as national treasurer, Muhmmad Ibrahim as national publicity secretary, Ahmed Bawa as national financial secretary and Baba Sule Bisalla as national auditor.
Others include Engineer Abubakar Gambo Umar as deputy secretary-general, Hajia Fatima Kwaku Esq as deputy national legal adviser, Murtala Usman Aliyu as deputy national treasurer, Hajia Amina Ladan-Baki as deputy national publicity secretary, Hajia Laraba Dattijo as deputy national financial secretary, Mohammed Hassan Fawu as deputy national auditor, Mohammed Tanko Soba as assistant secretary-general, Bashir Albasu Esq as assistant national legal adviser, Saleh Gacha Bade as assistant national treasurer, Adebayo Abubakar as assistant national publicity secretary, Ado Datti as assistant national financial secretary and retired Navy Capt. Hamidu Usman Jefejji as assistant national auditor. Gowon urged the new leaders to be determined to improve on the performance of their predecessors.
