In a ceremony before their departure on Wednesday, representative of the Secondary Education Board and Deputy Director, Co-Curricula, Hajiya Binta Nasir, said both students have excelled and done the Board and Nigeria proud.

She said the scholarship scheme is collaboration between the Korean Cultural Centre and the FCT Secondary Education Board which started since 2011 on issues of culture, arts and education.

She said two students who qualified in 2011 are already in Korea, and the present 2012 winners passed through a preliminary stage, a zonal competition and a final draw before their emergence.

Principal of both schools advised the two students to be good ambassadors of FCT and Nigeria while the parents also advised their children to remember, pray and thank God who made it all possible.
