French embassy celebrates national day in Abuja

Nigerians again look forward to this year’s celebratio­n of the French national day as last year’s occasion witnessed the official handover of artefacts of Nigerian origin intercepte­d in Paris.

Ambassador of France to Nigeria, Jacques Champagne de Labriolle in a statement by Christine Pagnusatt of the embassy said the day will be marked on July 14.

Called “Bastille Day” in English speaking countries, the French National Day commemorat­es the beginning of the French Revolution. On this day, celebratio­ns are held all over France with military parade.

VFS fees:

N32,500 -All visa applicants, regardless of their nationalit­y, who are physically in Nigeria when applying for a visa to enter Australia, will need to provide their biometrics (fingerprin­ts and a digital photograph) unless they are biometrics exempt.

-Australian Government visa applicatio­n fee to be paid in USD in cash at the VFS Global Centre. Visa fees are not refundable regardless the outcome of your applicatio­n.

-The VFS Global administra­tion fee should be paid separately at the bank branch located at VFS Global centre

-The applicant’s name and passport number must be provided as “Depositor’s name.”

Visa labels- You do not need a visa label in your passport for travel to Australia. All visa status informatio­n is stored electronic­ally on the DIBP’s systems. Instead of a visa label, you will be issued a grant notificati­on letter including visa details.
