Is Sanusi ripe for Kano?

-

I’ve never enjoyed your write-up for once. You are either beating about the bush or campaigning for one person or the other. I suggest you should always be straight forward; after all in democracy, you are entitled to your opinion anyway!

Ramatu Jijitar

ramatujijitar@gmail.com ************************** Precise and real is one of the ways to describe this article, Thanks. Yes, there is executive impunity on our roads and lives. Since the Executive failed or refused to fix that, they fixed their cars and privileges. As to security, perhaps no other nation on earth has more executive convoys than Nigeria. To Sarkin Kano, SLS, we wish him a peaceful and stable tenure for the people of Kano to benefit from his immense exposure, Amen.

Jan Hazo

naiyamd@gmail.com ************************** You are entitled to your opinion about his readiness to occupy the throne. Anybody who has been following events is quite aware that SLS has been nursing that ambition and it is open to everyone, perhaps except you. You are probably not a prince so, you will not understand how every prince is hoping and adequately prepared to occupy the throne of his forebearers. Are you saying that at 53 years old, he is not ripe or that he is not qualified? Are you questioning the kingmakers and the process they adopted in selecting him along with others? Was there any time in Kano or elsewhere in the north where kingmakers met in the open to select an emir? Every objective Nigerian will attest to the fact that SLS did his best while he was in charge of the CBN. Are you saying that the news that some dollars got lost in NNPC is not true? Keep your argument about your love for SLS in the past. Your write- up is a clear picture of where you now belong. It is not about SLS, it is about respecting the people’s institution. He is an heir to the throne and Allah has willed that he will be one of the occupants and he is there right now. Too bad for those that think otherwise.
