Jonathan seeks N160bn foreign loan to fight Boko Haram

-

This is a simple ploy by the government to misappropriate funds which may be raised through the puppet Debt Management Office obviously to fund yet another potentially reckless project. Why is the government borrowing this money now, is it for a 3rd term presidential bid? Nigerians are not fools and will not just stand by and watch.

Maikudi

maikudi@outlook.com ************************** Before the approval, the Senate should thoroughly investigate the huge amount of money appropriated for security in the 2013 and 2014 budgets respectively. It should also ask how the weapons would be used? And would the military enter Sambisa if provided with new arms? I don’t know where these politicians want to take us to.

abeebishop@gmail.com ************************** What are you telling me? Are you saying that the unremitted (but not missing) $20 billion is not enough for your 2015 campaign and you must borrow N160 billion to top it up? When Kashim Shettima hinted that our security agents’ weapons were inferior compared to Boko Haram’s, Abuja didn’t take it kindly.
