“Access to information has been our problem as deaf Nigerians and we hope that we will be able to map out strategy with the media houses including other available partners in making our work easier and readable as well,” he said.

He explained that it is very important that Nigerians understand more about deafness and deaf people and how government and organisations can learn more on how to work better with them.

The Vice President, Mohammed Adelari noted that deafness is a big problem as deaf children cannot communicate effectively even in schools.

He explained that there are several media gadgets like the video release service which they do not have access to, but believe with partnerships such can be done.
