Jonathan suspends Foreign Affairs Perm Sec
Well, I think it’s good that the President would take this immediate action and exonerate himself from any wrong action by a government official. But there are so many embarrassing issues that came to his attention of which the President did not act swiftly e.g. the kidnapping of Chibok girls, missing NNPC’s $20billion, issue of arms purchase in South Africa, fuel subsidy scams, Police pension scams, OduaGate etc. How I wish it is the same actions he has been taking in the last 6 years when some government officials are embarrassing and tarnishing the image of this country like looting the treasury, diverting funds, embezzling public funds, corruption, violating constitution and criminal acts, threatening the nation’s security, tackling Boko Haram, solving problems of electricity, security, education, healthcare, kidnapping, jobs, economy, water, roads among others.

yusuflawal24@yahoo. com ************************ It is quite amazing that the outgoing President engaged in frequent firing of the government official just within the six weeks after he has been defeated by the incoming President in the March 28 Presidential election. The president’s actions are worrisome and uncalled for. Cases that range from suspension to sacking of government officials are undemocratic, more especially at this crucial time of transition of administration between the outgoing and incoming governments.
