Straight-point tips for guys

-

It is a sure saying that we all love to look good but then this week, the focus is on guys! YOUTHVILLE presents some easy-step fashion tips that can help guys look good no matter how they have been.

You need appropriate and fitting footwear. Remember this saying – ‘ you can judge a man by his shoes’. This could be true because when you step out, you may be addressed the way you are dressed.

So buy a good pair of shoes that will last for years and stay good-looking with nothing more than some light cleaning and the occasional shine.

Steer clear of trends.

Main-stream fashion trends change too fast to make useful wardrobe staples. Just stick to classic clothing in your wardrobe and avoid anything that’s too far out even if you see something that makes it look good.

Have a good suit in your wardrobe. No matter what your job is, you would need a decent suit one day and if your job demands wearing assorted ones then get a variety of colours but matured styles.

Add a dark-fitted jeans to your wardrobe.

But then, know when to wear it. Jean styles are always changing: rips, tears, boot cut, wide leg….just name it. You can wear them with a fitted T-shirt for a relaxed, casual look or dress up with a buttoned shirt and a sport coat for a businesscasual style.

Replace T-shirts with polo’s and sport shirts. Wearing T-shirts to the gym or when you are performing house chores is fine. But wearing same to social events or to work is a no-no, especially when the shirt is too big. A good polo in a simple, dark colour is always presentable and always flattering if it fits well.
