Amachree seeks stakeholders support for Pinnick

Football stakeholders have been called upon to give unflinching support to the Amaju Pinnick led board of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday, the proprietor of Amakson Football Academy, Bishop Amachree said the transformation of football administration in the country since the new board took over was a laudable achievement that deserves the support of every stakeholder.

Amachree said against the backdrop of criticism of the style deployed by Pinnic to administer the game in the country that only those who are foresighted will be able to key into the new drive in the federation.

He said that the strides being made in the Nigeria Premier League is made possible by the readiness of the board to give the administrators of the league the free hand to manage it as against what was obtainable in the past.

“When the nation clamoured for change in the Eagles, Pinnick and his team wasted no time in effecting the positive change that will in the shortest possible time return the country to her glorious days in football.

“Those who are shouting from the top of the roof now against supposed poor management of football in the country are not sincere

Amachree therefore called on Nigerians to support the federation to achieve its goals of taking the country to enviable height at both the continental and world stage.
