‘Warriors won’t pass Jalingo test’

-

FC Taraba attacking midfielder, Stephen Adah has said El Kanemi Warriors’ potent form against league leaders, Enyimba will be ineffective in Jalingo.

The top flight struggling side will host the Maiduguri outfit in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 31 clash at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo.

Adah said his side have perfected their act that will see the visitors being turn back empty-handed.

“El Kanemi Warriors showed good recovery from their past poor performances with a 3-1 win against league leaders, Enyimba in match day 30 clash in Katsina.

“However, that superlative performance that saw them beat Enyimba will not work against us in Jalingo on Sunday.

“We will turn them back empty-handed to their base as we cannot take anything less than the whole three points at stake.

“Right now we cannot afford to drop any point not even on our own home ground.

“Our position on the league log is quite poor we need all the points we can lay our hands on to stay afloat.

“Victory will further strengthen our survival fight to stave off relegation at the end of the ongoing season,” said the former Enugu Rangers playmaker to supersport.com.

FC Taraba are 19th on the top flight on 29 points from possible 90 in the 30-week old league.
