- Muhammad Gumel 07058835510 Yunana Elijah, Maiduguri 08032157309 By observing what is going-on in the National Assembly (Senate) I am blaming Sen. Ahmad Rufa’i Sani who is representing Zamfara west Senatorial district as the one responsible for the chaos

Self impeachment

I am afraid his Excellency the Governor of Jigawa State Badaru Abubakar if he fails to watch his steps that would lead him to impeachment because it seems he is working against the APC. Bura Borno not ready for election

Sir the government of Borno state is trying to fix an election for the vacant seat of the deceased late Ahamed Zannah. But the truth is the people of Borno central and Borno state are not ready for any election now, why because many are still suffering from the trauma of Boko Haram. And if elections must hold let all the IDPs be relocated to their hometowns now that peace has come and the insurgents has been crushed. And with the newly appointed caretaker local government chairmen I think and suggest that the first priority of the newly caretaker chairmen of the affected local governments is to relocate their people back home and provide them with shelter. And not the usual business of lodging in a hotel and sharing the Ghana must go.

Zamfara’s Sen. Ahmad Rufa’I Sani

Popularity not zoning at the N/Assembly

A.

The crises of the Senate arose as a result of ‘wayo’ played by Senators

B Saraki and Ekweremadu. The senators took advantage of the absence of 51 members of the Senate. All the senators of the APC were invited for a meeting with the executive of the party and the President prior to inauguration of the house. 51 loyal members answered the call, but 7 of the senators decided not to honour the party.

They therefore arranged with 50 members of the PDP to form majority and shared the positions to themselves. Instead of PDP to get nothing as was the case with former administration, where other parties got nothing from the PDP’s control house.

What I believe should be done is for the current leaders i.e Saraki and Ekweremadu to step down and allow the full house to elect their leaders. Let them taste their popularity in a full house. Since the President says he can work with any leader, the party should stop zoning positions. At the end of the day, popular candidate will emerge. The house of representative should also choose their leaders on popularity only, not by zoning any position to any area. The President has the right to overrule the house.
