FIFA investigates Nigeria’s Adamu
Nigeria’s Amos Adamu is under investigation by FIFA for alleged breach of the ethics code of the world football governing body.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter and former general secretary Jerome Valcke are also being probed.
Adamu, 62, was on the FIFA executive committee for four years until 2010 when he was banned for three years from all football activity.
He was banned over claims he asked for money in exchange for World Cup votes.
His suspension ended in October 2013.
At a time, the onetime high-ranking Nigerian sports ministry official was touted as a successor to long-serving Issa Hayatou at the head of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
