PDP asks Jonathan to explain role in arms deal

-

Good point, especially since EFCC said they have no evidence of Jonathan directing that the monies be diverted to campaign. So, were they stealing in his name? Abidilagungun abidilagungun@ yahoo.com

For once, a reasonable person speaks the truth from the PDP camp. When did the ONSA became WADATA plaza and Dasuki the PDP chairman that all of them are claiming they received the money for Jonathan campaign? The money raised during PDP fund raising is meant for what? Why did the money for arms now become campaign money? Please return our money in peace and stop threatening us with hunger strike. Those of us from the North East who suffered most in the hands of Boko Haram are certainly not in agreement with your viewpoint. The people who ‘benefitted most’ in this unfortunate saga are predominantly from Sokoto/Kebbi/ Zamfara axis. May be that is why you are less than objective in your assessment. Allah knows best. Jika jikau1996@gmail.com

What do you expect Jonathan to say other than possibly try to absolve himself from blame? Dasuki certainly couldn’t have disbursed those huge amounts to party stalwarts without the president’s directive and Okonjo-Iweala’s knowledge. Has the PDP forgotten so soon that, in his desperation, Jonathan funded various groups to campaign for him? It is therefore not surprising if he used individuals as well. Right now, PMB seems to be in a dilemma because while he is committed to his fight against corruption he doesn’t want to touch Jonathan for honourably conceding defeat to him and saving the country from the likes of Orubebe. S. A. Maigari shagarari@gmail.com The reason why it would seem as if those being pursued are of PDP is simple... The PDP was in power when the largesse was being shared. Farida crocozille@gmail.com
