2016 CAPITAL APPROPRIATION PROJECTS
1.0 INTRODUCTION In compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, the Federal Government Girls' College Bida, Niger State invites interested, competent, reputable and qualified contractors with relevant experience and good track records necessary for the execution of these projects:
1.1 CATEGORY A - CAPITAL PROJECTS (WORKS) Lot No. Project Title/Description

2.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested prospective bidders are required to submit the following documents and would serve as basis for consideration: A comprehensive company profile with CVs of key officers and their Technical Qualifications and registrations with relevant professional bodies. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Evidence of Registration and Certificate with Industrial Training Fund (I.T.F.). Current three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate ending December, 2016. Evidence of VAT payment (VAT Certificate and TIN No). Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the projects from a reputable bank. Certificate of current Pension Commission (PENCOM) and remittals to all organisations by National Pension Commission in line with Pension Reform Act 2004 (as amended). Evidence of National Social Industrial Training Fund (NSITF} Evidence of qualified technical and professional staff. Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of FGGC, Bida has any pecuniary interest in the company and that information presented in its bids are true. Evidence of Registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (B.P.P.) Evidence of letters of award and Job Completion Certificates of previous experiences in similar job(s) at least in the last three years. Tender documents are obtainable from the Secretary, School Tender Board, Office of the Vice Principal (Special Duties), FGGC Bida on the presentation of a copy of the original receipt of payment of a non-refundable Tender fee of Twenty Thousand Naira only (N20,000) via FGGC Bida TSA Account No. 0190467961016 Acct. 4.0 BIDS SUBMISSION
Completed Technical and Financial Bids should be submitted in two different sealed envelopes and labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively, with the Company's name indicated at the back of the envelope. The two large envelopes should be marked “Technical” and “Financial” and addressed: The Secretary, School Tender Board, FGGC, Bida. The envelopes should be duly marked “Category/Lot No ____” Technical or Financial on the top right hand corner. The Bids should be dropped in the Tender Box at the Office of V.P. Special Duties, FGGC Bida. Bidders are to ensure that they sign the submission register.
5.0 CLOSING DATE
All documents must be submitted on or before 12 noon (6 weeks from date of advert) 1ST September, 2016.
6.0 BIDS OPENING
Opening of the secured documents would commence immediately, following the closing time stated above, at the Conference Room of the school. All contractors or their representatives, relevant professional bodies, CSOs and NGOs are invited to witness the public opening exercise accordingly.
7.0 PLEASE NOTE THAT
A post review of procurement may be carried out where contractors may be required to present the original copies of their CAC, PENCOM, TAX, ITF certificates and may thereafter refer any/all to the relevant Security Agencies and organisations for verifications. Federal Government Girls' College Bida reserves the right to reject any or all the submissions that do not meet up with the requirements as specified.The School Tender Board will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party in connection with responses to this invitation and or the preparation or submission in response to an inquiry.
