Group wants Kwara health care service delivery prioritized
A civil society organisation, Grassroots Development and Advocacy Centre (GDAC), has called on the Kwara state government to prioritize health care service delivery by budgeting more for the sector.
Expressing worry about the ‘small’ amount budgeted for the procurement of drugs for all the general hospitals in the state compared to 2.1 percent of the capital budget for the office of the governor, the founder of the organisation, Mr. Salman Tunde, said at a media launch of his centre and press briefing on budget tracking fact sheets, that much could be done for the health sector by raising capital votes for it.
