Unilorin communication students hold Photo Exhibition
The Mass Communication department, University of Ilorin is set to hold her maiden photo exhibition on January 26, 2017.
The exhibition tagged FOTOCLIQUE 2017, and themed: “Photography is life”, is the first of its kind in the University, and is billed to take place at the University’s auditorium basement.
Four Panelists who are professional photographers would be present to evaluate all the pictures exhibited by the students.
The panelists would also present photography seminars to orientate the audience on salient details on photography.
A statement to our reporter disclosed that one of the professional photographers, Osahon Okodugha, a photographer and physiotherapist who is inclined towards creative and conceptual art is to discuss, the theme “Dropping auto modes and learning the full potential of your camera”.
Also, The Chief Executive Officer of Yemi Ajala studios and Founder Project Kwara, Ajala Adeniyi, a London trained photographer and cinematographer, would discuss his journey from being a beginner to a professional photographer.
A specialist in Portrait, wedding, beauty, and event photography, Olayiwola Emmanuel popularly known as Zeal would discuss “Entrepreneurship in Photography”.
The lecturer-in-charge, Dr Kehinde Kadiri said, “The exhibition is to give the students a real life feeling of what photo-journalism is like.”
