Bosso targets maximum points against 3SC

- By David Ngobua

Technical Adviser of El-Kanemi Warriors, Ladan Bosso has said he is in Ibadan to mastermind the return of the ‘Oluyole Warriors’ to their days of home mishaps by picking the maximum points in today’s NPFL week 16 match.

Before they defeated Rangers 1-0 in a rescheduled match, 3SC had drawn their past two home matches thereby drawing the anger of their teeming fans.

Unfortunately, the victory over Rangers was followed with a 0-1 away loss at Nasarawa United, rising tempers again.

It is against this background that the ElKanemi Warriors coach is confident his team would win against 3SC to ensure they also get their own share of the ‘bonanza’ in Ibadan.

He however said it is going to be a very difficult match as he noted that any encounter with a desperate thing is never easy to prosecute.

According to him, 3SC after so many draws will be fighting to win more matches at home to brighten their chances of escaping relegation.

“Any match against a desperate thing is never easy to play but we are ready for 3SC. They are not doing well at home so we want to take our own share of the points available.

“Other clubs too have picked points in Ibadan so I believe our case is not going to be different. The worst result we would get tomorrow (today) will be a draw. We want the three points,” he said.

El-Kanemi Warriors who have amassed 27 points are joint second on the log with MFM, one point behind table toppers, Plateau United.

MFM who are playing at home against Abia Warriors stand a chance of going to the top of the table as their closest rivals, Plateau United and El-Kanemi Warriors all have difficult away ties.
