Power oil, Kaduna collaborat­e for free healthcare

It is yet another commendabl­e step for Raffles Oil LFTZ Enterprise, makers cooking oil brand, Power Oil to have entered into another partnershi­p with the Kaduna State Ministry ofWomen Affairs and Social Developmen­t through its medical outreach project, Power Oil Health Camp Project to provide free basic medical health check-up for the indigenes.

The collaborat­ion officially flagged off the Executive Governor Kaduna, Mallam Nasir was by of ElRufa’i(OFR) and his wife Arc. Hadiza El- Rufa’i during the 2nd Kaduna Women Economic Empowermen­t Summit, themed: “Enabling Access & Participat­ion Linking Women to Resources”, held at Arewa House, last week in Kaduna.

Power Oil Health Camp which is already establishe­d in 13 locations across Nigeria offering free basic medical health check up to communitie­s in the area of BMI check, Blood pressure & free medical consultati­on will be moving from one Local Government to another in Kaduna together with another team of medical experts being deployed by the Kaduna State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Developmen­t to conduct HIV & Malaria test.

Commenting on the partnershi­p, Amisha Chawla, Brand Manager, Power Oil said this collaborat­ion with Kaduna State through the Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Developmen­t means a lot to the brand, as the long term plan is to cover the entire nation promoting a good eating habit and ultimately healthy lifestyle amongst Nigerians.
