Partner Mobile unveils PS 3, mulls manufactur­ing in Nigeria

Partner Mobile, one of the latest entrants into the Nigerian mobile phone market, has unveiled PS 3, a new android smart phone, as the brand marks its first anniversar­y in the country.

The brand also disclosed in Lagos over the weekend that with the impressive market share its innovative products have enjoyed in 12 months in the Nigerian market, it has been motivated to set up manufactur­ing facility for local production very soon.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO), PS Partner Mobile, Simon Klepper, said the PS 3 is coming into the market to consolidat­e on the innovative ingenuity of the brand following the success of PS1 PS2 and PS Power.

Klepper described the PS 3 as an android OS 7.1 mobile phone that comes with a whooping deca-core 2.6GHz processor, a 5.5inch FHD IPS LCD, an innovative dual 13MP back camera and an 8MP front camera; it also has a 3350Mah battery and comes with a RAM of 4GB and a ROM of 64GB.

Commenting on Partner Mobile’s penetratio­n into the Nigerian market, Ifeoluwa AkereleMol­okwu, Marketing Manager, Partner Mobile, said the brand name has been marketed to a large extent.

Akerele said: “Partner Mobile devices have been made to fit into every social and economic class and it has succeeded in selling over a million units of its phones in the country within its first twelve months.”
