Shittu, others to brainstorm at ICTEL Expo 2017
Minister of Communications, Mr Adebayo Shittu and top Information, Communications and Telecommunications (ICT) industry players, joined by other stakeholders will be brainstorming on issues affecting the sector in Lagos today at this year’s ICTEL Expo.
The three-day event which is slated for between Tuesday 25th and Thursday 27th July 2017 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island is with the theme: “The Digital Economy: Strategies for Growth in a Connected World”
Speaking with Daily Trust on the event, Chairman Trade Promotion Board, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Sola Oyetayo said the aim of ICTELEXPO 2017 is to encourage conversations and sharing of opinions on innovations and trends as well as providing an excellent networking opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders, including key government agencies and regulators, business decision makers, telecommunication companies, innovation incubators, ICT hubs, start-ups, ICT academics, ICT social entrepreneurs, ICT trade as well as professional associations, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), major ICT vendors.
Oyetayo said that the event offers three days of information, inspiration, innovation and a platform for diverse business and investment opportunities.
“This is a place to get comprehensive overview of trends, find new ideas, meet suppliers and providers face to face, network with other professionals and learn about new concepts effectively- all in a convivial and engaging atmosphere. ICTEL 2017 will feature a variety of talks and presentations on new, important and
insightful topics on ICT and Telecommunication”, he said
