It was further gathered that it was while the parents of the late okada boy were conveying his corpse to their village near Monkin town that they met two Fulani people and insisted that the Fulani people were the killers of their son.

Daily Trust gathered that the two Fulani men were taken to a police outpost and a mob stormed the outpost and threatened to burn it down if the suspects were not handed over to them.

The suspects, it was further gathered, were taken to Zing town and the mob also attacked and burnt down the police divisional office.

A witness in Zing Malam Bello Zanko told our reporter that the mob freed all suspects detained at the police station and set ablaze all vehicles and motorcycles parked at the station.

The witness also said that curfew was imposed on the town to forestall further breakdown of law.

A member of Jibu community Malam Dauda Usman told our reporter that no helicopter landed in their community.

According to him members of Jibu community were shocked and surprised when a team of policemen from Wukari and IBI came to the area asking them of where a helicopter landed in the area.
