Uni­jos alumni builds mul­ti­pur­pose cen­tre

The Univer­sity of Jos Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion (UJAA) has com­menced the con­struc­tion of a multi-mil­lion naira mul­ti­pur­pose cen­tre at the univer­sity.

Speak­ing at Naraguta Cam­pus, UJAA Pres­i­dent, Al­haji Idris Yakubu, said the cen­tre would have a Lec­ture Hall with 300 seats, shops, book­shops, of­fices and an am­ple park­ing space to ac­com­mo­date over 200 ve­hi­cles.

He said the cen­tre would be a ma­jor con­tri­bu­tion by the alumni to raise the pro­file of the univer­sity.

Speak­ing at the ground­break­ing cer­e­mony, Gover­nor of Plateau State, Si­mon La­long said the build­ing would boast aca­demic ac­tiv­i­ties.
