Veritas, Media Trust to partner on insurance penetration

Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc will soon partner with Media Trust Limited to deepen insurance awareness and penetration across the country.

Both companies made the commitment yesterday when the management of Media Trust (publishers of Daily Trust, Aminiya, Kilimanjaro and Tambari) paid a courtesy visit on the management of Veritas Kapital in Abuja.

The Media Trust team was led by the Editor-in-Chief/CEO, Mr. Mannir Dan-Ali and the Veritas Kapital team was led by the Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Polycarp Didam. The partnership will come in the form of specialised publications and articles aimed at creating awareness about the benefits of the insurance services Assurance provides.

Mr. Dan-Ali noted that northerners and Muslims were the poor cousins as far as insurance was concerned because they wonder where insurance placed them but that with the publications, that position could be mitigated.

Responding, Mr. Didam said Veritas was keen to publicize its products and services especially now that it has rebranded.

He noted that Veritas Capital has 13 strategic branches across the country and that it has rebranded for better impact. “In rebranding, we will reach out to everyone so they know what we are doing and a very good platform is the media,” he said. insurance and Veritas Kapital
