Group vows to force Saraki’s resignation
The Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO) has vowed to occupy the National Assembly if Senate President Bukola Saraki fails to resign from office after resumption next month.
The National Coordinator of the group, Danladi Pasali declared that Saraki’s resignation in the current situation was the most honourable path aftermath of his recent defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Pasali, who spoke during the inauguration of Ogun State secretariat of BCO at Eleweran, Abeokuta however, did not disclose the day and time they would occupy the National Assembly.
Pasali urged Saraki to take queue from the former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Apkabio’s, who resigned after defecting to the APC.
Speaking on the chances of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 election, the BCO national coordinator said those, who have shown interest in his seat cannot defeat him, adding that the BCO was battle ready to ensure APC won the coming election.
