Cowbellpedia: Ogun, Abuja students pick final tickets
As the 2018 edition of the Cowbellpedia mathematic competition entered the final stage, secondary school students from Ogun and Abuja put in spirited efforts and have grabbed three slots at the senior and junior school categories.
At the senior category, Juliet Ekoko and Enoch Adelekan from The Ambassador College in Ota, Ogun state defeated contestants from other states to earn their tickets.
Juliet and Enoch surpassed four other counterparts. Amara Aronu, Emmanuel Igban and Oreofe Daniel, from The Ambassadors College dropped from the contest; the other defeated contestant was Ayomiposi Adiji, from Preston International School in Akure, Ondo State.
Relating her story Juliet, who was the 2015 junior category winner said her experience on the Cowbellpedia TV Quiz show was quite exciting and interesting. “I have been a champion and will feel very great to be crowned a champion again,” she said.
For the junior category, Gabriel Akogun of Welkin International School in Ogun State is joined by Chiedozie Uzochukwu of Nigerian Tulip International College for Boys in Abuja. The duo had defeated Iyunade Ogundana of Greater Tomorrow Model College in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State and three others to get their tickets.
