Tambuwal: let’s play politics without bitterness

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has called on those seeking for power to play politics without bitterness.

The governor made the call while receiving the Man of the Year Award from the New Telegraph Newspapers at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos at the weekend.

“Now that the season is here, we should always have it at the back of our minds that we are in this business for service to the people of Nigeria and our respective constituencies, not for selfish reasons,” he said.

Tambuwal said power comes from God, and only God gives power to whom he wishes at his own time.
