25 countries for Kano int’l trade fair
The Kano State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA) has disclosed that exhibitors from 25 countries will participate in the 39th Kano International Trade Fair which commences today and will end on December 8.
Disclosing this at a press briefing, the Deputy President of the chamber and Chairman Implementation Committee, Amb. Usman Darma, said about 500 exhibitors from within Nigeria would participate in the fair.
Amb. President Darma Buhari said was expected to officially open the fair which theme was “Ease of Doing Things is the Key to Sustainable Development in Nigeria”, adding that the chamber had been up and doing to ensure that the trade fair was the best of its kind.
He said some government establishments such as Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) would take part in the fair as the new changes introduced to garnish the 2018 Kano International Trade Fair.
“CBN will be here to enlighten and sensitise the public on their economic policies in different sectors of the economy and how the people could benefit from them. CAC will display their one-stop shop where people could register their businesses once and enjoy a 50 per cent discount for their registration.
“NCC will also be here with all the service providers to entertain public complaints and channel same to the affected service provider,” he said
Darma added that other provisions such as children amusement park would be in place and that adequate security had been put in place to protect lives and property of the participants.
He, therefore, called on the general public to take advantage of the fair.
