Group plans youth sum­mit on peace, se­cu­rity

@Si­monEchewo­fun The Na­tional Youth Sum­mit on Peace and Se­cu­rity NYSPS is to or­ga­nize a 5-day all pres­i­den­tial can­di­dates, gu­ber­na­to­rial and Na­tional As­sem­bly can­di­dates in­ter­ac­tive fo­rum on peace and se­cu­rity in Nige­ria.

The fo­rum is or­gan­ised by the Cen­ter for Devel­op­ment & Em­pow­erem­net CeDECoM-Nige­ria, in part­ner­ship with Na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Nige­rian Stu­dents NANS, Na­tional Youth Coun­cil of Nige­ria NYCN, Nige­rian Youth Par­lia­ment with the tech­ni­cal as­si­tance of the Nige­ria Po­lice Force and the Nige­ria Se­cu­rity and Civil De­fence Corps NSCDC.

Pres­i­dent and Con­vener of the All Pres­i­den­tial Can­di­dates In­ter­ac­tive Fo­rum on Peace and Se­cu­rity, Engr. Pros­per Okafor, stated this at the Na­tional Work­ing Com­mit­tee NWC meet­ing held at the Fed­eral Sec­re­tariat Com­plex, Abuja.

He said Nige­rian youths are there­fore call­ing on all po­lit­i­cal par­ties and their can­di­dates to mar­ket them­selves and se­cure votes from the over 75 mil­lion Nige­rian youths prior to the 2019 elec­tions.
