Attention, Abuja’s Maitama Hospital

-

The laundry workers at the Maitama District Hospital have turned the laundry section of the hospital into a commercial hub where their customers’ clothes appeared to be more important than those meant for the hospital’s use. They collect clothes from people, wash and get paid for the services rendered but ignored the ones meant for the hospital. Many staff of the hospital are also encouraging these laundry workers thereby patronizing them. It is very unfortunate to see things of this kind happen in government owned establishments and those who perpetrate them are encouraged to do more as if it is appropriate. These laundry employees should be called to order and those staff patronizing them should stop. It is unethical and ungodly.

Awunah Pius Terwase, Abuja. 08179289948 nonviolence leads to redemption and the creation of the beloved community”. This is more so when one put into consideration the overall effect of violence on the growth and development of our society. On part of the citizenry there is no doubt that thousands of lives are lost and properties worth millions of naira are usually destroyed whenever violent conflict occurs, while on the part of government monies meant for development are regrettably redirected into the maintenance of peace and security and while development stagnates.
