Nabena: PDP hires ex-INEC chair for 2019 polls

The APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, says PDP has hired a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as an ‘election consultant’ for the forthcoming polls.

Nabena said this yesterday while speaking with journalists in Abuja, but declined to disclose the name of the former INEC chairman.

While challenging the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to deny the allegation, he charged relevant authorities to investigate the veracity of his allegation.

He urged Nigerians not to be deceived by the alleged PDP-sponsored protest and fake news over the recent appointment of Mrs Amina Zakari as the chairperson of INEC’s ad hoc committee on National Collation Centre for the 2019 elections.
