The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, has officially commissioned an 18X2 bedroom accommodation built for the Air Force personnel at the 551 Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Station in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Abubakar said NAF has in the last three and half years provided accommodation and other welfare services for the wellbeing of all its officers and their wards.

Represented by the Chief of Administration, NAF headquarters Abuja, Air Vice Marshal Kingsley Lar, the CAS said he was optimistic that the flats would greatly ameliorate the accommodation deficiency in NAF Station Jos.

In his remarks, the Commander 551 NAF Station Jos, Air Commodore Kabiru Aliyu, said the commissioning of the flats was a dream come true for the benefiting family members adding that the facility will inject a new lease of life to them.
