Kada City will bounce back against Pillars - Idris

- By David Ngobua

Kada City experienced player, Papa Idris has assured that his team will return to winning ways beginning with their home match today against Kano Pillars.

The Hassan Adams tutored lads suffered a humiliating 0-4 loss at Akwa United on Monday and are targeting a win against their visitors.

In a chat with Daily Trust yesterday, the former Super Eagles defender said Kada City cannot afford to lose to Kano Pillars in today’s match.

He said back to back defeats will spell doom for his team so everybody in Kada City is working towards getting the maximum points.

Idris said Pillars will be difficult opponents but Kada City with a mixture of old and young players will triumph at the end of the day.

“We are getting set for the big clash with Kano Pillars. It is going to be a difficult match for us but we are ready for the encounter.

“Having lost our last match by 0-4, we cannot afford to lose to Kano Pillars. They are visiting us at a time that we are seriously wounded.

“We shall do everything humanly possible to get the maximum points. As soon as we returned from Uyo, we held a meeting where we decided that we shall not drop points again.

“So against Kano Pillars tomorrow (today), it is the maximum points or nothing. We want the three points,” he said.

Idris also said it will be a thing of joy to play against his former employers.
