I came with renewed vigour to serve - Prof Bogoro

The Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro said he has come back with a renewed vigour to serve the Fund and the country.

Bogoro stated this over the weekend when he received a delegation from the University of Maiduguri (Unimaid) led by its Vice Chancellor Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.

Speaking, Professor Njodi congratula­ted Professor Bogoro, saying Unimaid recognizes his leadership qualities noting that his unpreceden­ted recall to serve at the Fund again by President The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has commended the Nigerian Army for appointing a certified member of the Institute as spokespers­on.

The President of NIPR, Mallam Mukhtar Sirajo, made the commendati­on while speaking at the official handover of Army insignia and flag to Col. Sagir Musa, as the new Army Spokesman, over the weekend in Abuja, a statement by the institute said.

Sirajo said that the Nigerian Army has consistent­ly Muhammadu Buhari (GCON) is a confirmati­on of the confidence Nigerians have in his administra­tive and Managerial acumen.

The Executive Secretary in his response thanked the Vice Chancellor and contended that the size of the delegation not only made him emotional but also evoked a feeling of nostalgia rememberin­g his days as a student at the University.

The TETFund boss also commended the Vice Chancellor of the University and his Management team for their promptness in accessing their yearly allocation­s, a feat which he noted many of the Beneficiar­y Institutio­ns are still struggling with. complied with the relevant provisions of the law that establishe­d the NIPR in filling the position of Director of Army Public Relations.

“I want to congratula­te the Nigerian Army, particular­ly for always trying to be on the right side of the law. The Act that chartered the NIPR has made it criminal office for anybody to practice public relations in whatever name without licensing by the Institute, but the Nigerian Army has ensured that officers assigned to speak for the organizati­on are registered members of the NIPR”.
