Atiku and his ‘stolen mandate’

-

This is laughable, ridiculous and unbelievable! It is now, Atiku Abubakar realized that “stolen mandate” has become an offense geared towards making a contender becoming frustrated, disorganized and seeking legal redress.

When the former vice president was in power and administering the affairs of the country with his boss, how many mandates were stolen by the PDP from Muhammadu Buhari? That is why I always respect the saying, “One good turn deserves another”.

Has Atiku Abubakar forgotten the rigging upon rigging carried out in every election the country was conducting being initiated and executed by the PDP?

It was during the PDP’s era that snatching of ballot boxes became legal and rampant. They enhanced frauds and electoral malpractices in the electoral system.

The PDP former Deputy Senate President, Alh. Ibrahim Mantu has said it all where he revealed the methods used in carrying out the electoral frauds and deceits associated with general elections in the country.

If the PDP was honest and sincere, it would have made the electoral system transparent for the number of years they ruled the country. Alas, they expect to get a smooth running of electoral system to favor them since they did not envisage same for the country. How would that be?

That is why they say, “Do good to the people you meet on your way going up, you may likely meet them on your way coming down.”

Atiku Abubakar should be reminded that it was the PDP that used the Army in 2007 general elections and not the present administration which equally required the assistance of the Army to quash any foreseeable danger that may affect the integrity of the peace loving people living in the country.

“Those in glass houses should not throw stones” or else, they would invite total destruction which the PDP used to bury its own corpse.

I believe, Atiku Abubakar has been advised by close friends and associates to keep off contesting with an incorruptible leader who is loved, liked and praised by the majority of the people.

He ignored them and went ahead to bribe the PDP delegates with USD in order to clinch the ticket and became the party’s flag bearer.

Secondly, the former VP should have known that he could not win the presidential election in view of the former PDP leaders, supporters and specialized election riggers who decamped and joined the APC bandwagon in order to ensure the PMB’s success to move to the Next Level.

Thirdly, the Book “My Watch” written and authored by the former president Olusegun Obasanjo who served as Boss to the former VP has and still plays a significant role in the downfall of Atiku Abubakar.

Conclusively, the next level for Atiku Abubakar is to spend days, months and years visiting the Nigerian courts while the majority of Nigerians would be busy enjoying the fruits and benefits of what they have voted for in terms of improved security, social amenities and economic well being designed for them by President Muhammadu Buhari spread on the agenda of the country’s “Next Level” priorities.
