Benue Assembly holds valedictory session for Waku

The Benue State House of Assembly yesterday held a valedictory session in honour of the late Senator Joseph Waku.

Speaker Titus Uba said that the entire Benue politicians would miss Waku’s political counsel Uba said Waku impacted positively on people around him.

Majority Leader Avine Agbom, hailed the late Waku’s political sagacity and aptitude.

The chairman of the Forum of Former Legislators, Benue Chapter, Sylvester Atachin, regretted that Waku had to die at a time Nigerians needed him most to speak up in this period of “democratic crisis.”
