Coscharis unveils Ford Everest, Figo

Coscharis Nigeria Limited has unveiled the new Ford Everest and Figo, two new brands recently launched in the global market.

The launching was done at the Lagos Motor Fair which was concluded last week.

General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communication, Mr. Abiona Babarinde said the new Ford Everest is the most sophisticated Everest seven-seater Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) on the market.

According to him, It comes in 2.2L or 3.2L with 6 speed automatic transmission and four wheel drive.

“It is more appealing than ever with a range of styling, suspension and feature upgrades. As Ford’s premium offering in the rapidly growing SUV market, the New Everest puts the emphasis on quality, refinement and luxury matched to exceptional space and practicality. Its ground clearance is superb and suits the Nigerian road perfectly,” he said.

Babarinde said the Everest came with improved safety and technology features like the Passive Entry and Passive Start (PEPS) system, fitted as standard on the XLT and Limited models.

Others are Semi-Automatic Parallel Park Assist (SAPPA), electric powerassisted steering (EPAS) and sensors used to steer the vehicle safely and perfectly into place.

The GM added, “We are really excited about the new Everest joining the Coscharis Ford line-up. Its off-road capability is incredible and as such occupies an important position in the SUV segment, which continues to grow in Nigeria.”
