Group empowers 160 women with skills acquisition

The Destiny Helpers Mega Vision/Ochedi (DH) in partnership with Jaba Local Government Council in Kaduna state have completed a one week skills acquisition training for more than 160 women in the area.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the exercise in Kwoi, the Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Benjamin Jock who was represented by his wife, Mrs. Lydia Jock expressed deep appreciation to the organizations for equipping the women with skills to become better citizens, perfect help mate to their spouses and good mothers to their families.

She assured that council would expand the programme to involve youths in the area.

She urged the people to live peacefully and continue to pray peace in the area.

Earlier in her welcome address, Director of Human Resources, DH Mega Vision, Mrs. Akira B. Ekarbe thanked the local government for partnering with them with the view to promoting the living standard of the residents.
