Kekere-Ekun, Frank Donga star in hilarious ‘three thieves’

Koye Kekere-Ekun popularly known as K10, Shawn Faqua, Frank Donga, Angel Unigwe and Lucy Ukpabi are popular faces in “Three Thieves”, an action comedy and second feature film of Trino Motion Pictures, a film production, marketing and distribution company.

The movie written by the trio of Sammy Egbemawei, Abba Makama and Africa Ukoh and directed by Udoka Oyeka chronicles the predicament of three friends – Tega (Koye Kekere-Ekun); Oreva (Shawn Faqua); Rukevwe (Frank Donga) who had to deploy every strategy to wriggle out of an impending danger.

They were chilling in the bar when Tega was approached by a young, pretty lady, Adella (Lucy Ukpabi) who mistook Tega to be a professional robber. The two friends were co-opted but achieving the ‘task’ was more than daunting.

The movie also features other top actors like Odunlade Adekola, Shaffy Bello, Omotunde Adebowale (Lolo), Enado Odigie, Wofai Fada, Charles Okocha, and Funny Bone.

The director, Udoka Oyeka said: “It was a pleasure putting this film together. The synergy between the three guys made my job easier and made the time on set a lot more fun. I am really excited for everyone to see this project and share in the happy spirit it brings.”

One of the writers, Sammy said, “For me the characters were live from the scripting stage and seeing it brought to life, I can say justice was done. Writing this with great minds like Abba Makama and Africa Ukoh who could share in the vision I had for the story was indeed amazing.”
