Osaka and Wozniacki surge into the China Open quarterfinals
Two of the most exciting talents in tennis will meet for the first time on Friday when Naomi Osaka and Bianca Andreescu clash in the China Open quarterfinals.
On the eve of what could be the start of a long rivalry, the 21-year-old Osaka called the 19-yearold Canadian "an amazing player" and said "I have to learn from her".
The Japanese, on the upswing after a slump following her triumph at the Australian Open at the The Director of Sports in Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Mrs. Dili Onyedinma has praised Team FCT for their improved performances at the just concluded 5th National Youth Games.
The FCT contingent placed 9th on the medals table with 6 gold, 4 silver and 12 bronze medals.
According to Onyedinma, FCT won more gold medals this year than previous start of the year, smiled: "I'm older than her, very much so. years.

Mrs. Onyedinma disclosed that new talents were discovered particularly in gymnastics where the FCT won five gold medals which was an unprecedented accomplishment.

Osaka, yet to drop a set in three matches in Beijing and fresh from winning the Pan Pacific Open in Japan, earned her place in the last eight in style.
