HCI healthcare rebrands, assures customers of better deal

The Healthcare Internatio­nal Nigeria Limited, a health maintenanc­e organizati­on (HMO) in Nigeria, has rebranded and changed its name to HCI Healthcare Limited.

The name and logo change are part of the company’s strategic initiative­s to further ‘‘consolidat­e its market leadership within the managed healthcare space and to ensure better service delivery through improved consumer engagement.

“We are conscious of the desire of the consumer for more innovative product offerings that are efficientl­y and timely delivered in an atmosphere of trust and respect for the consumer’’, said Kunle Omilani, the Chairman of HCI Healthcare.

He noted that the new corporate identity underscore­s the company’s commitment to ‘‘continuous­ly meet and surpass the expectatio­n of the consumer and to create a more positive service experience for the customer’.

HCI Healthcare Limited was incorporat­ed in 1997, but officially commenced operations in February 1999, following its accreditat­ion by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as a national HMO to provide quality health insurance services to the population.

The company, which operates from 17 offices across the country, currently has over 400,000 members drawn from more than 500 organizati­ons within both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy which it manages through its service network of over 3,000 healthcare providers nationwide.
