Gunmen steal laptop in Nasarawa

Armed robbers have attacked Director of Public health in the Ministry of Health in Nasarawa, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu.

The robbers attacked him on Monday and took away a laptop belonging to the ministry containing official data on Lassa, COVID 19, and other vital information.

Other items are his car keys, ATM cards, and items belonging to his family

Information Officer of the health ministry, Abdullahi Ogoshi confirmed the incident.

He said that, “They took away his official laptop and other personal items at gun point. They shot severally while ransacking the house.”

Dr Ibrahim Adamu said he was not hurt, but his family was traumatized by the gunshots.

When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramhan Nansel did not pick his calls.
