State House perm sec moved to humanitari­an affairs

President Muhammadu Buhari last night approved the redeployme­nt of the Permanent Secretary State House, Jalal Ahmed Arabi to the Ministry of Humanitari­an Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Developmen­t. The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan said this in a statement signed by the Director, Communicat­ions, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Olawunmi Ogunmosunl­e. According to the statement, two other permanent secretarie­s were also affected, with Tijjani ldris Umar moving from the Ministry of Humanitari­an Affairs to replace Arabi in the State House. Sabi’u Zakari was redeployed from the Ministry of Transporta­tion to Ministry of Defence.

“The deployment takes immediate effect and the handing /taking-over processes should be completed on or before 5th April, 2020. The most senior Director in the Ministry of Transporta­tion will oversee the affairs of the office of the Permanent Secretary pending the appointmen­t posting of a substantiv­e one,” the statement said.
