State House perm sec moved to humanitarian affairs
President Muhammadu Buhari last night approved the redeployment of the Permanent Secretary State House, Jalal Ahmed Arabi to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development. The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan said this in a statement signed by the Director, Communications, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Olawunmi Ogunmosunle. According to the statement, two other permanent secretaries were also affected, with Tijjani ldris Umar moving from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to replace Arabi in the State House. Sabi’u Zakari was redeployed from the Ministry of Transportation to Ministry of Defence.
“The deployment takes immediate effect and the handing /taking-over processes should be completed on or before 5th April, 2020. The most senior Director in the Ministry of Transportation will oversee the affairs of the office of the Permanent Secretary pending the appointment posting of a substantive one,” the statement said.
