Convention: Yobe APC treasurer warns against internal sabotage

Yobe State treasurer of the APC, Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka, has cautioned against internal sabotage of the repositioning of the party by the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led caretaker committee.

He was responding to the 14 days ultimatum issued to the caretaker committee by some concerned members of the party over the delay in the conduct of the party’s national convention.

He said, "The party is aware of some disgruntled elements sponsoring and hiding behind some inconsequential characters to derail the party from the path of reconstruction and rehabilitation taken by the caretaker committee.

"As Nigeria's leading political party, we must not allow selfish elements with selfish ambitions to subvert our collective zeal towards building a strong political party.”
