In a related development, commuters and motorists passing through Benin City to South-South and South-East states were yesterday stranded in Benin as EndSARS protesters barricaded all entry and exit roads in Edo State.

Residents of the state, particularly Benin metropolis, had to trek long distance to get to their destination as vehicles were not allowed to ply the roads.

The youths set burn fire on the Benin-Auchi and BeninAgbor roads, singing and dancing while at the University of Benin axis of the Benin-Lagos road, the youths were seen cooking on the road.

It was also learnt that drivers, who had taken to a bush path to by-pass the blockade, had to pay between N100 and N200 before accessing the road.
