Ogun correctional centres produce 76 NCE holders, others

The Controller of Correctional centres, Ogun State Command, Mojeed Olaniran, yesterday said the command has produced 76 holders of Nigeria Certificate Examination (NCE).

Olaniran added that 13 others are currently studying for their degrees at the National

Open University of Nigeria.

He said this during the award ceremony of Masters in Desktop Publishing and Use of Internet by 16 inmates in Ijebu-Ode correctional centre.

According to him, another 75 inmates in the state would participate in the 2021 November/December National Examination Council (NECO).

The controller who was represented by the Officerin-charge of Ijebu-Ode correctional centre, Abel Oso, noted that the examination fees of the inmates were facilitated by some NonGovernmental Organisations, religious bodies and families of the inmates.
