10 youths get European football sponsorship

Ten young footballers have been unveiled as the beneficiaries of a football sponsorship to different club sides in Europe for screening and expected sign-on.

Sponsor of the players, Ambassador Yohana Margif, who was at the same time honoured with an award as the patron of Nigeria Eagles supporters club, announced the donation of two buses, one for the supporters club, while the other for the band club.

He also announced the establishment of a football academy in Jos, saying that arrangements have been concluded for the smooth take off of the academy.

According to him, he has sponsored many sports men and women spanning over 25 years across the country, stressing that he will continue to do his best to develop sports in the country.

Sunny Gullong, said the supporters club which has over 30,000 members across 30 states of the federation has recognized sports lovers and sponsors, and as a result recognized the likes of Ambassador Margif who has been helpful over the years for the prestigious award.

Speaking on behalf of the other players, Yohanna Isaac Yilpwan, said they will work to justify the confidence repose in them and will not let the sponsor, their supporters and the other well-wishers down.
